中信兄弟投手陳鴻文今（8）日召開記者會，說明自己未來打算外，也澄清今天出刊的《壹週刊》對他報導「做不好的事」或是「交友關係複雜」，一次澄清。
陳鴻文說：「我今天出面是希望大家把焦點放在球場上，針對外界說我打假球的事，我一回國就請球隊還有檢調，在我家還有父母家設置巡邏車，我也告知球團我願意簽相關切結書，但球團沒有給我回覆。」
他也說：「我在下半季有聽到媒體說我有被傳打假球的事，我也跟球團反應，跟球員工會報告，球員工會查證後，證明我沒打假球。原本球團告知我是要投季後賽第二場，但最後我沒有在名單內，我也有跟領隊討論，他說傳說我有在打假球，他們必須設置防火牆。」
陳鴻文認為，「若是我戰力不符，所以被迫要離開球場，我會接受，但是若是對我不實指控，我會對壹週刊還有媒體提出告訴。」
陳鴻文也指出，自己不認識有相關棒球簽賭的朋友，至於交友部分有私人領域，不方便回答。
